Riverton, Utah
Utah has the second-highest prevalence rate for autism in the United States. The most recent prevalence estimate by the Center for Disease Control indicates that 1 in 58 children in Utah has Autism. These children are moving into adulthood and bumping up against the cliff of disappearing services.
Emilie Lundberg, a Utah native, is the creator and founder of Music Adventure Box. As a former District Special Needs Music Specialist and an Early Education instructor for more than a decade, Emilie has created a perfect way for children with Autism to connect with their families, practice emotional regulation, and unlock their full potential.
Each month, Music Adventure subscription boxes come bursting with very special items. Gorgeous folk-songs turned into games, composer FUN, books to sing, puppets to play with, instruments, and wonderful experiences that engage children with autism, help them in their development, and create an opportunity for them to really connect with their family and caregivers. This membership also includes engaging online music classes, LIVE online music classes, and musical sign language classes online.
Music Adventure Box LLC would like to provide 100 new subscriptions for 1 year at a base price of $75/ a month to children with Autism.
The total budget for our objective is $90,000. If we can provide more children with memberships, we would love to do that!
