Gospel Hope Church

Hello, we are Richard and Heather Floore. We have four children, Trinity, Carley, Drewie, and Annie. Our lives are filled with the hope of the gospel, with the hope of Christ!

God brought our family to Myrtle Beach, SC in April of 2016. I (Richard) have served as the youth pastor at First Baptist Myrtle Beach for the past 5 years. During that time we have ministered to many different people in many different places and it is abundantly clear that many people are struggling through life with little to no hope and they definitely do not understand the hope that is in Christ.

Over the past few years, God has been working in our hearts to help us see that in order to reach the majority of those that are far from Him we must invest in their lives where they work, live, and play. We must seek to build relationships with them so that we can share with them the hope of the gospel. After much prayer and many conversations with wise Christian counsel, we will soon be stepping out in faith to pursue a new ministry to which God has called us, Gospel Hope.

Our desire for Gospel Hope is that it will begin as a church plant based on five key values:

We personally want to live as followers of Jesus who begin every decision with prayer and pursue every action we take through the truth of Scripture. We want to make disciples of Jesus by engaging people with Scripture and allowing the Holy Spirit to teach them the truth contained in God’s word. We want to send out our most qualified leaders into His harvest to start more churches here in Myrtle Beach and anywhere else God chooses to send them.

As we seek to be obedient to God in His call on our lives, we are seeking partners to join with us. We are seeking partners in prayer, partners in financial support, and partners in the hope of the gospel.
