Open Gates University

Life Transforming Ministries International is a Ministry that is registered and operating in Zambia. it operates as a Church and runs several Projects in the Community for the Vulnerable Women and Orphaned children.

One of its prominent Community Projects is Docsek Children’s Home which services Ophaned and Vulnerable Children. we service the said children by hosting them in the Ophanage while we support more than 300 who are in the community. that we do by giving School Supplies and other basic needs like Clothes and Food Stuffs. in our operations, we faced a financial breakdown and we failed to sustain both the Ophanage and our Community Support programs which included feeding programs in selected Schools. When we could nolonger run these community Projects due to finances we thought of starting up some Income Generating Activities which would help sustain our programs.

We attempted a number of Projects including Poultry, Car Washing Bays etc. After so much research, we thought of killing two Birds with one stone and that was the birth of Open Gates University which we thought would both provide Educational Services and use it to raise money. As indicated, this isa Sub and Educational Project of Life Transforming Ministries International.

The Vision of this institution is Empowering Communities through Education. The Business side of Open Gates University is to use it as a Project to raise funds and be able to sustain our support to the Vulnerable in the Community. We currently have a property for the said project and are fully Registered in Zambia.

We started with Theological Courses which we affiliated with the AICCS based in the USA, Certificate is attached. This Program is not much in money making but just helping Pastors get basic knowledge to serve God well.

Late last year we embarked on Accrediting other money-making Programs like Education, Business Studies, Health Sciences etc, that will enableus to start running and start raising funds for our ultimate community Projects including our Primary Project called Docsek Children’s Home. In the Process of Accrediting programs with the Zambia Higher Education Authority, students started enrolling in the school. Our current challenge is that we cannot start running the Programs because our facility has not been inspected yet by the Zambia Higher Education Authority. And why we haven’t invited them to get to inspect is because we have some things, we know that if not put in place, we will fail the inspection. We are currently in need of Students Desks, Computers, Painting ofthe School etc. Attached is our tentative Budget that will help us pass the inspection and bring in the students that have applied to study in our school. once this is done, the students will start school and we will start making money to run our community programs.
