LIFE GLOBAL MINISTRIES

In 1997 Rev. Dr. David Koo answered the call to move with his wife and children to Sihanoukville, Cambodia and serve the people there who were still struggling with the aftermath of the Pol Pot regime and a genocide that wiped out an entire generation of education. They began their ministry by preaching the Gospel and discipling new believers. This evolved into a Bible school where they would train pastors and send them out to start churches of their own throughout the different regions of Cambodia. As this ministry continued they also recognized a dire need for more educational resources and began making plans that would eventually lead to the establishment of Life Local School, Life International School, and Life University. In 2002, they began with a local kindergarten that quickly grew into what we now call Life Local School, a Pre-K to Grade 12 school with a strong reputation for providing a quality education to over 2,000 students per year. In 2007, Life International School was founded to serve local missionaries, businessmen, and families who desired an international education for their children. This has since grown to a Pre-K to Grade 12 school with over 400 students and was awarded accreditation with ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) in July 2021. In 2008, Life University was founded to provide an opportunity for students to earn their bachelor’s degree at an affordable price. Life University also provides instruction in English and collaborates with missionary professors around the world to provide an affordable college education.  This allows students who graduate from Life University to become fluent in English, providing a competitive advantage in their career search. In addition to these three schools and a seminary, Life Global Ministries also partners with businesses and organizations around the world to build schools in villages that do not have access to education. Every dollar given to Life Global Ministries has a profound impact on the lives of thousands of children and families being served on a daily basis.
