Purpose Child Uganda was started on January, 2010; out of passion to set up a child care centre to provide education, health care and well-being of children at disadvantage as a result of wars, armed conflict, displacement, ill-health complications, poverty and HIV/AIDS prevalence in Uganda. Under this organization we focus on children with developmental delays (refugee children, orphans, needy children, internally displaced children and destitutes), disabilities, acquired injuries and special needs related to education and health care. The organization is located at Maracha Village, Ediofe Parish, Pajulu Sub County, Arua Municipality, Arua District. Motto “Transforming a child to transform nations of the world” (Proverbs 22:6) Vision Raising God fearing children who live purpose driven lives in light of God’s divine plan for eternity. Mission To empower the children with life skills for better living towards self-reliance, self-sufficiency and self-sustenance for life now and life to come through holistic child care. Special Note: Children from 16 – 22 age brackets are rolled out to study while staying with relatives, parents and guardians to enable them assimilate into the community environment.
