91 is a faith-driven nonprofit that provides respite and loving restoration for church leaders and their families. We exist because those who pour into congregations often have little space to receive care themselves. 91 creates safe, restorative environments — practical rest, spiritual refreshment, and skills-based support — so pastors and ministry leaders can return to their calling strengthened, emotionally healthier, and better equipped to serve.
Core values: restoration, dignity, confidentiality, discipleship, excellence, and stewardship.
91 exists to love, restore, and strengthen those who serve on the front lines of ministry. Our mission is not simply to uplift individuals, but to help entire churches and communities flourish by caring for their leaders — spiritually, emotionally, relationally, and practically.
We minister to:
Senior pastors shoulder enormous responsibility. They are vision carriers, teachers, counselors, managers, spiritual parents, and—too often—the last to receive meaningful care.
They are:
Highly visible
Deeply burdened
Often isolated
Expected to be “always okay,” even when they are not
The pressures they face include:
Emotional exhaustion
Compassion fatigue
Congregational conflict
Unmet expectations
Lack of sabbatical/rest opportunities
Financial strain
Marriage and family pressures
Ministry instability or criticism
Many pastors have no safe space to process trauma, betrayal, or burnout. 91 provides a confidential place where they can rest, recover, and be poured into without fear of judgment or professional consequences.
Why they need 91:
Healthy pastors build healthy churches. When a pastor is restored, everybody wins—from congregations to families, from young people to entire communities.
While senior pastors carry the vision, associate ministers and leadership staff often carry the operational weight of ministry. These include:
Worship leaders
Youth pastors
Evangelists
Bible teachers
Administrative staff
Elders and deacons
They often experience:
Unclear expectations
Overwork without recognition
Compassion burnout
Role ambiguity
Professional insecurity
Emotional and spiritual fatigue
Many operate without formal mentorship or leadership development. 91 steps in to provide:
Structure
Discipleship
Restoration
Skill development
Emotional support
Long-term resilience tools
Without support, valuable ministry personnel become casualties of spiritual overextension.
Behind every public ministry leader stands a family that quietly carries much of the weight.
They feel:
The pressure of congregational scrutiny
Relational isolation
Financial concerns
Emotional demands
Loss of privacy
Spiritual fatigue
Ministry spouses are often:
Prayer warriors
Co-laborers
Emotional anchors
Unpaid staff
Silent sufferers
Children feel the pressure of public eyes, long hours, and the emotional burdens of their parents’ calling.
91 gives families:
Spiritual refreshment
Emotional release
Safe community
A place to be seen, known, and cared for
Supporting leaders’ families protects marriages, increases ministry longevity, and allows children to grow without resentment toward ministry.
Some leaders arrive at 91:
Exhausted
Spiritually dry
Disillusioned
Wounded by betrayal
Recovering from church hurt
In transition or without a current ministry home
They come from:
Forced pastoral resignations
Church splits
Moral failures
Leadership conflict
Grief and trauma
Loss of direction
We provide:
A shame-free environment
Spiritual healing
Soul-care resources
Professional referrals
Biblical counsel
Hope for the next chapter
We remind wounded leaders that they are more than their last season.
Many pastors work full-time jobs on top of leading congregations.
Their sacrifices are tremendous; their rest is nearly nonexistent.
Rural leaders often lack:
Financial resources
Access to training
Peer networks
Sabbatical opportunities
Practical ministry support
91 provides:
Relief
Connection
Equipping
Healthy ministry rhythms
These leaders serve some of the most underserved communities — and impacting them multiplies the reach of the Gospel.
91 invests in the next generation of ministry by supporting:
Young adults
Ministry interns
Bible college students
First-time ministers
Through the Dedicated Discipleship Program, we help them:
Discern their calling
Develop strong spiritual foundations
Learn leadership skills
Avoid early burnout
Build personal holiness
Serve from overflow, not depletion
We believe healthy leadership doesn’t start in crisis—it starts with discipleship.
91 is intentionally inclusive and serves:
All denominations (evangelical, Pentecostal, mainline, non-denominational)
All backgrounds (rural, suburban, inner city, immigrant ministries, global missions)
All ages (early calling to senior pastors)
All ethnicities and cultures
We see the Body of Christ as one family, and our programs are structured to serve leaders across the spectrum of churches and cultures.
Our vision is national and global.
We serve leaders:
In person at retreats
Through curriculum
Through online discipleship and coaching
Through 91 Magazine
Through virtual workshops & events
As capacity grows, the goal is to expand:
Regional hubs
National hosting sites
International support networks
Ministry leaders come to 91 because they need:
Rest without performance
Support without judgment
Training without burden
Fellowship without comparison
Truth without condemnation
Healing without exposure
They come because they need a place where:
Their roles do not define their worth
Their wounds are not minimized
Their family is valued
Their calling is honored
Their hearts can be restored
They come because 91 has been designed for THEM — the ones who usually pour, not receive.
Without structures of care, leaders experience:
Burnout
Mental health struggle
Loneliness
Identity loss
Spiritual dryness
Disconnection
Crisis-level decision-making
Studies show:
Thousands of pastors consider quitting each month
Over 50% experience constant stress
Many struggle in silence because they fear judgment or replacement
For every leader who collapses, an entire church suffers.
91 helps prevent that collapse — and restore those already affected.
When you strengthen a leader:
Marriages are protected
Children are preserved
Congregations grow and heal
Communities prosper
Disciples multiply
The Gospel advances
It is not simply a pastoral wellness initiative — it is an investment in the health of the Church and the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
A healthy shepherd leads to a healthy flock.

We care for the hearts of those who care for everyone else.
Pray for God’s protection over every leader, volunteer, and family connected to 91. Ask the Lord to guard us from spiritual attack, confusion, and discouragement, and to cover all events, gatherings, and travel with His peace.
Pray that everything we do would be led by the Holy Spirit — that our leaders would carry wisdom, discernment, and compassion as they minister to hurting pastors and families. Ask God to bring deep healing to those who are burned out, wounded, or discouraged, and to restore joy and purpose in their lives and ministries.
Pray for financial provision. Ask God to send committed partners who believe in this mission and can help support retreats, discipleship training, and our magazine. Pray also for good stewardship and wisdom in how we manage every gift given.
Pray for favor with churches, ministry networks, and leaders across different regions. Ask God to open doors for collaboration and to connect us with the people and places who need this ministry most.
Pray that the Dedicated Discipleship Program will continue to grow — that those who participate will be strengthened, well-equipped, and deeply rooted in their calling. Ask the Lord to raise up teachers, intercessors, and mentors who will walk with them.
Pray for health and spiritual strength for every servant involved in this work. Ask that no one pours from an empty cup, and that rest, encouragement, and balance would remain central.
Pray for 91 Magazine — that the content will be timely, encouraging, and Spirit-led, reaching leaders who need fresh hope and direction. Ask for creativity, excellence, and the right voices to contribute.
Finally, pray for lasting impact. Ask the Lord to multiply the work — that as pastors and leaders are restored, their congregations, families, and communities will be renewed. Pray that cycles of burnout and isolation would be broken and replaced with joy, community, and healthy discipleship.
91 is growing, and we are praying for the resources necessary to sustain and expand this work. We need financial partners who can give monthly or annually to support retreats, training, scholarships, and the publication of 91 Magazine.
We need committed volunteers: intercessors, event helpers, mentors, hospitality teams, writers, and those with administrative gifts. Professional support is also needed — especially counseling partners, advisors, and individuals with nonprofit, publishing, and ministry experience.
We are praying for more locations to host retreats and gatherings, along with churches willing to partner with us. Practical resources such as meeting space, printing support, and technology for teaching are also helpful.
Awareness is an ongoing need. We pray for churches and leaders who will help spread the word, so that those who need care can find us. We desire greater connections with Bible colleges, ministry schools, and networks to help young and emerging leaders receive support early.
Finally, we are praying for scholarships so that no pastor or ministry family is ever turned away due to financial hardship. As we grow, we also need strong leadership development — individuals who can serve on advisory teams, help with governance, and strengthen our operational foundation.
