A.C.F was founded in 2004 and started its operations in 2005 by Rev. Winne Muvunyi who is married to Rev Luis Aimable. Alpha Community Foundation is a Christian school aiming at impacting good Christian morals and values in children of today. The organization empowers the next generation of leaders by grooming communication skills, self-esteem and confidence. Alpha Community Foundation is a registered non-profit organization in Rwanda that aims to help vulnerable children from families who are still facing great hardship as a result of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi population which has affected many Rwandans. This dark period in our history left several Rwandan children with disabled family members and insufficient resources to provide for themselves. As a result, many of them were left unemployed or struggling to find work. At Alpha, we work with these families to provide them the opportunity to educate their children by offering them fully-funded scholarship programs. We focus on delivering quality support and education through a Christian worldview whilst also creating a safe, caring, a environment to enable those in our care to excel academically, physically, and spiritually. With your support, you enable us to continue our scholarship programs and increase the Kingdom of God. Alpha Community Foundation is very grateful for the support it has had over the years from many generous givers. They have enabled us to grow and reach more children within our community. Nonetheless, we still have a lot of work to do and more children to reach. We hope that you may join us on this journey and become a contributor to what God is doing here in Rwanda.
War Victims The sponsorship program was initially targeting children who have families that suffered the 1994 genocide in Rwanda. These families are struggling to live in society and supporting their children due to post traumatic stress from past events. With your help and support A.C.F would like to sponsor over 200 children in our school. Single parents and poor families. A.C.F is also providing children form single parent household with free education. These children are from single mothers who make very low income to provide children with basic needs which include food, clothing and education. As a community school we take the initiative to help some poor children. Orphans A.C.A also sponsors children who are living in child headed families, who don’t have a mother or father and are in need of a parental figure. With the right funding and support A.C.F can continue to help the community more effectively. Building a successful community requires help and contributions of any sort, especially in education. A.C.F would like to thank you for your consideration.
