Begun in March of 2010, Angel School’s vision is to give Christian education and leadership training to children who will transform their nation of Haiti as a generation of Godly leaders. Like many other Haitians, Angel Ministry founder Caleb Midi’s mother did not have the opportunity to go to school and never learned to read or write, but she worked sacrificially to make sure that he did. Because of her investment in his education, Caleb was blessed with opportunities to progress academically, economically, and spiritually. Despite constant pressure to use these advantages to pursue a privileged life outside of Haiti, this servant of the Lord has dedicated his life to reinvest these gifts into the future of his country. Caleb is confident that this land — which is affected by cycles of political corruption, natural disasters, disease, gang violence, economic poverty, illiteracy, and other challenges — can be transformed by believers partnering together to carry out this vision. Knowing that Christian education and discipleship have both practical and eternal value, Angel School is mentoring kids to become people of character who will one day change the government of Haiti and impact the Kingdom of God forever. As Caleb says in his own words, “How can you give someone a Bible and expect them to grow in the Lord if they cannot read?” Angel School serves 100 students and family members and the wider community of Jacmel, and it is the only Christian school in Haiti that utilizes sustainabillity projects like a water reclamation and filtration system, a solar power system, and a fish hatchery in order to reduce dependence on purchased resources and generate local revenue. The school staff trains students in the use and maintenance of these systems as part of their education to build entrepreneurial skills and confidence. Angel School endeavors to become a fully self-supporting ministry through these enterprises and others; long-term goals include a saltwater fish farm, a poultry farm, and a pizza shop.

A $1,200 one-time gift covers a teacher's annual salary. Our five teachers at Angel School are highly qualified so that we can provide the best education possible to our young future leaders. Yet their roles go beyond academics, guiding their students spiritually.
Feed Students
- Give $25 to cover meals for one student for a month or $150 for 25 students
Help Us Build
Construction of a new classroom to accommodate an additional grade level is under way. Help us complete the project by the end of 2025!

Grow Our Sustainability
Angel Ministry operates onsite fish farms to cultivate food for the students, teach the kids about animal husbandry, and generate local revenue to support the school. You can help us expand the operation to add freshwater basins and a saltwater system.
- Give $1,500 to establish and stock a new basin to secure food for Angel School students and neighboring schools.
- Give $14,000 to construct a saltwater hatchery system to cultivate higher-value fish to generate revenue.
