Heraklion, Greece
This bible translation project was inspired by a trip to Podgorica and I spent time ministering to the Roma refugees from Kosovo who live at a smoldering garbage dump outside the capital city of Montenegro.
The early years of Kosovo Roma refugees brought much turmoil and hopelessness and only now has progress been made in selecting the prospects to work as translators and proofreaders of Bible Translation into Gurbet Romany dialect of the Roma language.
Several encounters have been made with the pastor of church in Konik, Montenegro, after which it was established that the single aim of simply reaching the Roma people is not enough.
With years of experience of Bible Translation and completion of the Today’s Bosnian Version and with up-to-date first-hand knowledge of the particular requirements to successfully complete the Bible translation, Daniel Kapeleti is working to commence and successfully bring to completion the Bible translation into Gurbet Romany.
