Together we can transform the lives of children with disabilities. Your support is vital for the successful implementation of our programs in Tanzania. You can donate funds, become a partner or contribute with your expertise. Making a gift to the Foundation for African Empowerment (FAE) will link you to a disability-inclusive Tanzanian school. We welcome you to meet the children with disabilities you are transforming. By helping to transform the lives of children with disabilities, you will be transformed.
We believe that addressing these four areas is crucial to sustainably end the exclusion of children with disabilities in mainstream education. We also believe that by strengthening the children with disabilities’ access to quality education, we go a long way towards improving quality of life and building a more inclusive, fair and just society. This forms the core of who we are and what we do daily. We value the lives of children with disabilities. We exist because they exist. We take great pleasure in helping them access quality education.
Your generous support to the work of FAE is vital. No amount is too small or big. Every penny of your support will go into helping children with disabilities. We thank you all in advance for your kind generosity.
Why Do We Exist? We exist in order to improve access to quality inclusive education for children with disabilities in Tanzania. We believe failure to provide quality education for children with disabilities is a violation of the basic human rights and it is against the teachings of Jesus Christ to the world. It is unacceptable and it is not inevitable by the grace of God.
Of all children out of school worldwide and even in Tanzania, children with disabilities are the majority of all. FAE works with schools, families, communities and other development partners to improve access to quality inclusive education so that children with disabilities may reach their full potential and thrive in their communities. We believe that we can overcome the exclusion of children with disabilities in education and build a more inclusive world for all children. We respond to exclusion of children with disabilities in education with an approach that is focusing on four areas.
