God Is Wonder

Who We Are

We are Huamei Collective, a team of Christian Chinese who have received a clear calling from God to complete a mission entrusted to us. Guided by Biblical teachings, our foundational purpose is to honor God and love people—first receiving His love, then sharing it with the world. At the same time, our Chinese heritage roots us in the classic principle of 天人合一 (tiān rén hé yī), which means the unity of heaven and humanity, a philosophy that teaches a natural progression of life: cultivating oneself, strengthening the family, contributing to society, and ultimately bringing peace to all under heaven.

Throughout our lives, these two core values—Christian faith and Chinese cultural wisdom—have shaped our character and worldview. Over many years, our understanding of both has deepened. Now, with a clear vision clearly from God, we believe it is the right time to begin this work and serve people through fine art.

Why This Project

The inspiration for God Is Wonder comes from both our faith and our cultural roots. As Christians, we are called to honor God and love people, especially in a world that often feels dark, turbulent, and troubled. Our mission is to offer light peace, and joy through visual art.

As Chinese, we carry the teachings of our ancestors, and it is a privilege to share the beauty of our civilization—a gift granted by God—with others. We hope to serve as a bridge between the gospel of Jesus and the beauty of Chinese civilization, using art as a universal language that speaks to the heart.

Our paintings aim to offer a deep sense of peace, meaning, and spiritual elevation—qualities often missing in contemporary art. By integrating Christian faith with Chinese cultural wisdom, we seek to create artwork that reflects the beauty of God’s creation and the depth of His wisdom. Using carefully selected archival materials and rigorous professional techniques honed over years of practice and research, we ensure each piece is built to endure and inspire.

What We Create

✝️ Painting Series

We plan to develop multiple painting series that express the truth that God is wonder. Each series will present a unique combination of biblical themes, Chinese calligraphy style, and cultural symbolism.

✝️ Educational Exhibitions

When a series is completed, the collections will be presented in public exhibitions designed to educate and inspire. Our hope is that people of all background will encounter God’s peace and wisdom through the artwork.
