King’s Cross Church

King’s Cross Church is a new church plant forming for the good of the west metro and the glory of Jesus Christ. 

We are living in a moment of profound cultural madness. Basic truths about God, humanity, the body, the family, sin, authority, and reality itself are being denied, inverted, and enforced as the new orthodoxy. Many people can feel that the world has become deeply unserious and disordered, but they do not know how to name what has happened. At the same time, much of the modern church has responded to this moment with fear rather than faith. 

Too often, churches have softened what God has said in order to remain respectable in the eyes of the world. They have retreated into a privatized spirituality, avoided hard truths, apologized for the Bible, and offered a thin, therapeutic message that comforts people without calling them to Christ. In many places, the fear of man has replaced the fear of God. The result is a church that may be polite, professional, and inoffensive, but is no longer compelling to a lost and confused culture. 

King’s Cross Church exists because we believe Jesus Christ is not merely a spiritual idea, a private comfort, or a Sunday morning accessory. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He is Lord over worship and work, marriage and parenting, education and politics, mercy and hospitality, truth and beauty, private life and public life. 

Our mission can be summed up in one phrase: 

All of Christ for all of life. 

We exist to glorify God and to increase the joy of all people in Him by making and maturing disciples of Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit and the gospel of grace, so that every sphere of life is brought under His good Lordship. 

King’s Cross Church is committed to being Christ-centered, biblical and unashamed, culturally engaged, Reformed in doctrine, catholic in spirit, family-integrated, and gladly courageous.
