QIC Prison Ministry is a faith-based outreach initiative under the Qua Iboe Church, Nigeria, dedicated to prison evangelism, discipleship, rehabilitation, and reintegration of incarcerated persons. The ministry operates with a strong conviction that every individual has value in God’s sight and that transformation is possible through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The ministry is led by Reverend Ifiok Udeme Ikoh, Senior Congregational Pastor and Secretary of the Qua Iboe Church Prison Service Committee. The ministry builds on years of pastoral experience, theological training, and active involvement in Christian education, discipleship development, and correctional outreach across Nigeria.
QIC Prison Ministry coordinates structured engagement within correctional centres, including evangelism, Bible teaching, discipleship programmes, and volunteer training. The ministry also partners with churches, Christian organisations, and prison officials to support holistic inmate care and long-term rehabilitation efforts.
A major component of this initiative is the development of the Christian Resource and Discipleship Library, designed to equip ministers, inmates, and students with sound biblical literature for spiritual growth and leadership development.
The ministry also places strong emphasis on rehabilitation, aftercare, and reintegration, including mentoring support, life-skills encouragement, and structured follow-up systems that help individuals transition successfully back into society.
