Welcome to Ray of Hope Ministry Relief—where our heart is to care for those who care for others. If you’re a pastor, church planter, missionary, or a family member of one, you’re not alone. We’re here to walk with you. Ray of Hope Ministry Relief exists to encourage and support ministry leaders and their families—especially those walking through grief, burnout, addiction-related struggles, or personal crisis. We do this by offering:
- Personal pastoral care and spiritual encouragement
- Pulpit supply so leaders can take time for rest
- Retreats and workshops focused on healing and renewal
- Resources for ministry families impacted by loss or addiction
- A podcast (coming soon) focused on encouragement for leaders
Founded by Daryl Grimes, a pastor and church planter with nearly 30 years of ministry experience, Ray of Hope is deeply rooted in real-life experiences of loss, grief, and healing. After losing his daughter and brother to addiction-related struggles, Daryl felt called to walk alongside others facing similar pain—especially those in ministry who often suffer in silence.

Our Programs & Who We Serve
We come alongside pastors, church planters, missionaries, and their families—especially those navigating grief, addiction, burnout, or seasons of deep discouragement.
Pray with us
1. For Wisdom & Clarity
Pray for clear direction as we build this ministry from the ground up—making wise decisions about partnerships, structure, and scheduling.
2. For Open Doors
Ask God to open the right doors to serve pastors, church planters, and missionaries in need—and that He would lead us to those who need encouragement most.
3. For Ministry Families in Crisis
Pray for pastors, missionaries, and church planters walking through grief, addiction, burnout, or hidden struggles. Ask God to use this ministry to bring comfort and healing.
4. For Financial Provision
Ask God to provide the funding needed to serve well—through monthly partners, one-time gifts, and in-kind support (like travel, media, etc.).
5. For Rest & Personal Renewal
Pray that Michelle and I would stay healthy, spiritually renewed, and emotionally refreshed as we minister to others out of our own story of grief and grace.
