We help mama stay home with their newborn during the earliest and one of the most important stages of life by providing short-term financial support so mama can remain with their babies during unpaid leave or early financial hardship.

What We Do

Strong Home Starts provides short-term financial grants to families during the first months of a child’s life.

We focus on situations where:

• Mama qualifies for unpaid leave (such as FMLA)
• But cannot afford to take the full length of time off

We help bridge that income gap so mama can stay home during this critical stage.

Why It Matters

The earliest months of life are foundational for bonding, attachment, and stability.

Many families face a difficult reality:

• Mama must return to work earlier than she wants
• Not because she doesn’t care, but because the income is needed

We exist to reduce that pressure during a short but important window of time.

How It Works

1. Families apply or are referred
2. We review short-term financial need and situation
3. If approved, we provide targeted financial assistance during the leave period
4. Support is temporary and focused on stability during early infancy

We operate under a fiscal sponsor (Christian Ministry Alliance), allowing all donations to be used responsibly and transparently.
