Thank you for taking a moment to learn about The Toba Foundation. We are a faith-driven ministry committed to bringing hope, healing, and practical support to children with developmental and physical disabilities in the Bonao region of the Dominican Republic.

We believe every child is created in the image of God and carries inherent worth and dignity, regardless of physical or developmental ability. Too often, children with disabilities in under-resourced communities are overlooked, with families left to navigate impossible challenges alone. We exist to change that story, one child at a time.

What we do

The Toba Foundation partners directly with trusted local foundations and ministries on the ground in the Dominican Republic to fund essential therapeutic services for children with disabilities, including occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech and language therapy, behavioral support, and developmental evaluations.

Every case we fund is personally vetted. We carefully verify each child’s circumstances, and our leadership conducts periodic in-person visits to the children and families we serve, ensuring that your generosity reaches the families who need it most. We operate under fiscal sponsorship through Christian Ministry Alliance, which provides financial oversight and accountability for every gift entrusted to us.

Why it matters

In communities like Bonao, access to disability services is limited, and the cost of consistent therapy is often far beyond what families can bear on their own. Without intervention, children fall further behind in development, families carry the weight alone, and isolation deepens. With consistent, well-stewarded support, children gain mobility, communication, confidence, and a path toward greater independence — and families gain a partner who walks alongside them.
