Purpose: We strive to offer a community centered on Christ for ravers, DJs, producers, and Electronic Dance Music (EDM) enthusiasts. Our Hope is to show the EDM Music scene that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
Background: It all started with Julia Y Stine who came from a Christian household. She started an EDM YouTube playlist called “True EDMMM” for her own personal use in 2013 after exploring the music style for the first time in middle and high school. As a fairly impressionable college student, Stine attended her first rave in 2017 and got hooked. She went all out dabbling in psychedelics and cocaine as well as surrounding herself with ravers who practiced pagan theology. Her beliefs in God began to change. The playlist she started in high school collected views. In 2020 it hit 4,000 views and reached up to 50 listeners a week! She then started using the playlist to promote new secular EDM artists. It all came crumbling down when Stine went out of control off of 2 tabs of acid which led to security having to tranquilize and hospitalize her. On July 23rd of 2020, Stine committed her life to Jesus Christ. The Lord had convicted her heavily on the lifestyle she was living and the music she was listening to. That’s how True EDMMM was born. The playlist went from a secular EDM playlist to a Christian EDM playlist. Our Facebook group has allowed for fellowship with EDM artists and enthusiasts. We are now implementing live Christian EDM concerts, and reaching ravers by showing up at concerts to share about Jesus. Through years of seeking, prayer, and networking we now have a fully Christian EDM playlist on YouTube, Spotify, and Soundcloud BUT it doesn’t end there.
There is a community of Christian EDM artists and enthusiasts who come together in prayer, dance, worship, and hope for the future of ravers.
